He was husband to M. Jane and adopted into the family at an early age. Fiendishly fascinated by odd musical rhythm, he stole several gramophones from houses in Perilous Downs and pillaged them for the parts needed to make what he termed his "Box of Boom." He had learned that by scraping the gramophone tubes in time with his own hellishly hypnotic recordings, he could make people do anything he wanted. He roamed the city streets at night playing his maniacal melody machine, inducing people to dance until deceased. The townspeople called the addictive sound the Devil’s Jitter and would shout, "The DJ is coming! Run for your lives!" When he dropped the beat, everyone else dropped too.
